iphonecl My iPhone 4 has an old jailbroken iOS version of 4.0.1 (8A306). I would like to update the iOS on my iphone to the most current jailbroken version, while keeping ALL of my information.
Answer: Sorry but u won’t be able to jailbreak is u update yr iPhone now . There was an update and 5.1 is the newest firmware and the latest jailbreak is for ios5.0.1 .wat I recommend is to wait till 5.1 untethered jailbreak to come and back it up . Then jailbreak it.

March 2nd, 2012 iphonecl I have an iPhone 3G, and in late December, my phone died and when I charged it and turned it back on, all of my texts were deleted.
However, whenever I type something into the search bar, a preview of an old text message that I thought was “deleted” shows up as a result, but I can’t open it. How can i restore my texts?
Answer:
You can plug the phone into iTunes and restore it to the day before it crashed. But this means you will lose everything since then. Sadly iPhones are a little temperamental! If the messages are that important to you perhaps ask at the genius bar in your local apple store. Sorry it’s not much of a help

Answer:
I have heard Redsn0w is good to use for Jail Breaking. They are no cons. It wont effect anything until you download what you want to change. Jailbreaking the device is simply freeing it from any restrictions. That is all it does. Now it is up to you what you do to the phone afterward.

Siri will not work if you don’t have Wifi or 3G. It is just like the Weather, YouTube, and Safari that are already built in.

Answer:
Sometimes the E-mail shows if they are using a iOS device that is not a cell phone (iPad, iPod touch). They see either your cell phone number or your email depending on your settings.
To change what they see you as when you are sending a message to someone when you and the recipient both have iMessage on you can do the following. First you need to turn iMessage on and wait for it to finish saying “waiting for activation…” Now go to settings> messages> receive at> caller ID. The phone number or email that is checked will be what they see you as.

Get the otterbox slim. Its way smaller then the reg. And if you drop it aloft then i would only suggest otterbox because others don’t protect as well.

I suggest the anti-glare screen protector because you will be able to use your iPhone so much better in the sun, believe me. Plus it protects your phone!
